I just turned 25 years old, 5"6, size 4. Always had flat breasts up top and heavy on the bottom. I was a 34C/32D and without a bra I would look completely flat chested. No cleavage. Hated the shape. Now thanks to Dr. Sheila Bond, my breasts are up, full and I have cleavage! She advised me that since I already naturally have a lot of breast tissue, I only needed a small implant to maintain my cup size (which is what I wanted). I was nervous about the scars but I figure that since I'm young, its worth it. I am already loving my results! Every day they look better and better!

Hit the two weeks mark and I'm feeling great. Almost no pain at all except some soreness in the morning. My breasts are no longer in my armpits which is so much more comfortable. I've also graduated to sleeping on my side or near flat on my back. Dr. Bond cleared my to start scar treatment around day 10. I'm using silicon sheets during the day and skin lightening creme and silicone gel at night. Looks like its already working! I heal pretty well but my scars get dark so as long as I'm vigilant and consistent I feel pretty confident that in 1-2 months my scars will be pretty light.

I finally made it to 3 weeks and my breasts are feeling pretty good! I can lay on my stomach with little to no discomfort but I still prefer to sleep on my side for fear of squashing them. I noticed looking at my earlier photos that the swelling has gone down even more. My left breast is still a tad higher than the right so I'll just keep waiting on that one to drop. And finally my scars. They're looking pretty wild now but I'll just keep using my silicone sheets and skin lightening cream!

I'm feeling great! I've began alternating between my surgical bra, sports bras and underwire. I'm also still doing my scar and skin-lightening routine. My breasts are feeling much softer and jiggling a bit! My left is still high so Dr. Bond gave me some maneuvers to hopefully bring it down a little. Her awesome office staff is also ordering me a band to wear to help bring it down. I don't really mind it too much and you can't really tell when I wear a bra. I'll just continue to be patient. :) I can't believe it'll be a month on Saturday!! Happy healing to everyone!

Time is just flying by! Just showing an update on what I hope is progress. A few things have changed:
I've switched scar therapy methods. Since it's been so hot lately in NYC, my silicone tapes havent been sticking very well...at ALL. I clean them often and clean my boobs daily and they still fall right off! Maybe I need a new pair. I was using the pre-cut ones but they're $$$ so I was researching an alternative. My PS recommended BioCorneum plus SPF30: Advanced Scar Supervision. This stuff works great! It doesn't stain my pretty new VS bras and makes my breasts feel super soft and moisturized. I head on vacation to Europe at the end of the week so the SPF will definitely come in handy. The worst thing for scars is sun. I'm still going strong with the skin lightening cream, but applying it with a toothpick or bobbie pin head to only get it on the actual scar (recommended by Dr. Bond. She said if you use your finger it spreads too wide, lightens everything and it looks worse than the scar! Not a good look).
The second thing thats new is that I'm wearing underwire bras. Again I'm a 32DDD (woah!) and in general my breasts are feeling pretty good. Just a little tender on the sides every few hours. My left breast, the one that was slower to drop, looks like it has dropped a bit and I love the way it looks! Surprisingly, I like it more than my right which dropped much quicker. My PS agreed actually at my checkup. She advised me to stay in a bra at all times. They are still a little uneven so I've been wearing my right bra strap fairly tightly to encourage it come back up (haha!) and the left strap normally. I know it sounds a bit odd. Has anyone else had experiences like this? Hope everyone else is doing well!! :)

Hi everyone! These weeks have flown by! Just a quick photo update on my healing progress. My scars are continuing to improve and I've switched (yet again) back to silicone sheets on my anchor scars and alternating biocornium and silicone sheets on my areolas. My left has dropped more too! Dr. Bond thinks by 6 months it will settle in completely. I am absolutely loving my breasts. They really feel like mine now. Happy healing!

Very excited to hit the 4 month mark woohoo! My breasts are doing fine overall. I'm waiting and silicone taping and waiting for my scars to look good. My areolas are pretty sensitive and sometimes itchy which is new. And I've noticed they have gotten a little smaller as well. But any strong scrape or scratch and my skin will tear so I'm keeping silicone on them as well. I have a lot of discoloring on my areola and anchor scars. The anchors look more like I have a rash than got cut opened lol. I haven't seen this kind of healing on Realself so if you heal this way too I'd love to hear about your experience! I'm keeping silicone on everything about 23hrs a day. Only take them off at the gym and in the shower. But I'm hopeful that with time it'll clear up! :)

Here are some clothing and bathing suit pictures from my recent travels. I think my new breasts fit really well on my frame. Not too large/overwhelming and not too small either! I'm 5"6.5, 150lbs, have 200cc mentor implants and now wear a 32F (DDD). I am in love with my results. I can't thank Dr. Sheila Bond enough!

Hi everyone! Just a brief update that I'm doing very well with my new boobs. My left has fallen just about to where my right was and thanks to the silicone sheeting, my scars are almost completely flat! Now I'm just waiting for the color to come back on my vertical and areola scars. My PS said that it may take up to a year to come back. And if it doesn't, I can tattoo the color back (which I also would be cool with). Scar routine is about the same: alternating silicone sheets on 12 hrs and then biocorneum for 12 hrs. Using the skin lightening cream less (just on the few darker spots). I got a little booboo on my right areola from over exfoliating the skin with my loofah in the shower so I'm watching that and treating with bacitracin and a bandaid. Hope everyone is doing well! :)

Put on an old bathing suit today. The pic on the left is pre-op and the right is 5.5 months post. I went from droopy and no cleavage to CLEAVAGE baby! :) Loving my results!

VERY very excited to have reached 6 months post-op!! I'm doing well and so are my boobs! They feel great (nice and squishy all over). Now onto my scars...I'm trying to be very patient as they're now bright red and still haven't gotten their color back. They are pretty flat but I'm keeping silicone on them 24/7 to be proactive. I went into this knowing I don't heal well so I guess that's just my cross to bear. But I'm confident they'll look good at 12 months. And if not, off to the tattoo parlor I go! Hope everyone is doing well!

It’s been a while since I posted an update but I’m doing very well and loving my results! This was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and I feel so much more confident with my body. I am still very diligent with my scar treatment by alternating scar gel and silicone strips as well as silicone nipple covers to keep everything nice and flat. I’m also still applying skin lightening cream sparingly just in the dark spots. The color is coming back to my areolas so thats a relief! I recently went for a check up with Dr. Bond and she says the color will come back completely around the 1 year mark. So I’ll continue to be patient. Adding some pictures to share my progress. Hope everyone is also doig well! :)

I've made it to 1 year!! I love my results! It really has changed my life and made me so much more confident. For those new to my journey, I have 200ccs of Mentor silicone implants and am a 32DD. I think my anchor scar has healed pretty well and I'm still using my silicon's sheets and the skin lightening cream. The only thing I'm not loving is my areolas...I think they've just stretched to be too big and my scarring there is pretty substantial. They poke out of my bra at times too. I don't mind them as much when my nips are "hard" but I don't want them any larger than that. So I am starting to seriously consider getting them redone. If anyone has had experience with this, please let me know! Sharing some photos of my wish areolas (lol)!

She was wonderful and so was her entire staff. Best doctor in NJ! I've been going for years and continue to get myself "tuned up" as needed. She's never pressured me into anything - more than I can say about some others. I feel totally comfortable in her hands.
